Are you tired of spending big money on handgun ammunition that you can't return and then hoping that it feeds and functions correctly in your gun, your gun likes it well enough to shoot tight groups, it produces tolerable recoil, and it shoots to point of aim? We all know guns usually shoot some ammo well and other ammo poorly. Typically shooters have to buy at least 20 rounds of a single type of usually pricey ammunition, only to often discover within firing the first few rounds that their gun doesn't like that particular load. Most of that ammo then winds up gathering dust, and your money goes down the drain. But now you can find accurate and powerful ammo for a fraction of the money you'd spend buying numerous full boxes of different ammunition. Our innovative, economical sample-pack system lets you test custom-grade ammo manufactured by Littlestone Ammunition. For less than you'd pay for a single box of most decent ammo, you can test up to five of Littlestone Ammunition's different custom loadings of various bullet types and weights. Try some of Littlestone Ammunition's 20- or 50-round sample packs today. Then, when you find the load you're looking for, you can buy a supply knowing it will do the job for you instead of just hoping it will. This is a 50-round sample pack loaded with five bullets: -
Twenty rounds, ten each loaded with 200-grain Speer Gold Dot SHORT BARREL Hollow Points and 210-grain Gold Dot Hollow Point bullets. Gold Dot hollow points are bonded bullets manufactured in three basic steps. First the core receives the bonded jacket; next an oversize hollow point cavity is installed with predetermined expansion folds; and lastly the final cavity shape and volume are set for the optimum performance for the cartridge and intended use. The bonded construction provides exceptional weight retention, which promotes penetration. Short Barrel Gold Dots have a larger hollow point cavity than regular Gold Dots and are designed to expand rapidly and the lower velocities produced by short barrel personal defense revolvers. Starline cases. Ten rounds loaded with 225-grain Barnes XPB bullets. The Barnes bullet is a homogeneous solid copper hollow point bullet, designed primarily for hunting but can perform as a defensive round when extreme penetration of metal and glass is desired. The Barnes bullet retains virtually 100 percent of its weight and provides deeper penetration than most conventional bullets.
- Ten rounds loaded with 240-grain Sierra Jacketed Hollow Cavity bullets. This is a jacketed hollow point bullet with a small opening at the tip of the bullet and a larger cavity underneath it. The combination provides good flight characteristics and rapid expansion, which is aided by what Sierra calls the Power Jacket, essentially skives in the jacket around the bullets tip.Starline nickel-plated brass cases.
- Ten rounds loaded with 240-grain Hornady XTP bullets. The Hornady XTP offers controlled expansion and deep penetration over a high and broad velocity range, from 1,200 to 2,300 feet per second. The Hornady XTP is formed from a copper jacket over a lead core. The XTP, which stands for eXtreme Terminal Performance, is regarded as an accurate bullet with good performance over a broad range of velocities. It is produced in several versions for different applications. The basic XTP is a hollow point design engineered with skives to promote controlled expansion, typically about 1.5 times the bullets original diameter. It offers controlled expansion and deep penetration. Recommended velocities range from 700 to 1,500 feet per second. Starline brass cases.
